Quick•Step® has always been a green choice We're constantly seeking new ways to recycle, reduce, reuse, recover and renew at every step of the manufacturing process. Our U.S.-produced laminate boards are made of 74% preconsumer recycled wood fibers and chips from sustainable sources. Not one exotic tree is harvested to create our beautiful exotic floors. Rather than sent to the landfill, rejected products are integrated into our chipboard factory or reused by third-party manufacturers. Our patented locking system eliminates the introduction of VOCs typically associated with installation adhesives. And all Quick•Step® floors are California 93120 Phase 1 compliant for formaldehyde emissions and comply with all CARB (California Air Resource Board) requirements. When you’re ready for a change, it’s easy to unclick, remove and reuse our floors somewhere else or donate them to your favorite charity. TRANSPARENT, WEAR-RESISTANT OVERLAY Resistant to stains, wear, impact, scratches, burns and household chemicals. • Features ScratchGuard Advanced Finish Protection — which makes our floors more resistant to micro-abrasions than other leading laminate brands.* Helps protect against micro-abrasions caused by everyday dirt and dust that can dull the floor’s surface finish over time. So your floor looks newer longer. * MAR (Micro Abrasion Resistance) Test: Measure of how well a product resists micro-scratches across a broad area (as opposed to pinpoint scratching from a single sharp object). Better test results indicate better resistance to scuffs from foot traffic, rug slippage, etc. • Superior AC wear-layer ratings prove durability for heavy traffic. This independent classification system measures a floor’s ability to withstand repeated abrasion. DESIGN LAYER Innovations and investments in technology offer the ultimate in realistic designs and textures. WATER-RESISTANT HDF CORE BOARD Offers more strength than a normal chipboard or MDF board. • Superior Uniclic® locking system helps prevent water damage and warping. BALANCING LAYER Moisture-resistant underlayer guarantees a perfectly stable product with no bowing or collapsing in the center — a problem that’s common with competitors’ flooring.
